The Scene – Located on the banks of the Detroit River, just outside the downtown district, this theater has played host to musical events with some of the biggest names around. Its design incorporates a shell-like canopy that accommodates more than 6,000 people. The performances themselves cater to many different fans of music. Jazz, pop, country, clues and gospel are a few of the genres from the approximately 40 acts featured each summer. –
