In Short – Well over a century old, it's Detroit's epicenter for all things fresh: fruit, vegetables, flowers and otherwise. Farm-fresh food for sale at incredible prices draws a diverse crowd. The open-air sheds bustle like nowhere else in the city. Expect an outstretched arm from a vendor holding a piece of fresh melon like some sort of delicious handshake. During the holidays, it's a great place for freshly cut trees and wreaths.
