Most compassionate service..
When my brother was struck by a motor vehicle and died, they were compassionate and helped us through the process as if they knew my brother. I cannot recommend a better funeral home. They handled every step with us with respect and comfort.
Thank you,
The Czmyr family
Most caring. For 16 months I have had the honor to work with these people caring for the truly forgotten, each time they have responded with human love and comfort that can only be genuine. Their passion for sincere respect and dignity for everyone who passes through their door humbles me and gives me faith in the goodness of mankind. I would feel safe as if I were in the hands of God if my earthly remains were entrusted these people.
They help you when no one else will !.
When we had a loss in our family, I called many funeral homes in the Detroit area. I was treated with no RESPECT when I told the directors that I had no funds to work with and then I called Perrys. The amount I was going to spend never came up and the Director was the one to ask me if my Uncle had any assets at all. After I told him that Uncle John was a man with no money and we had very little money to work with, he told me to come in and he would guide me thru the DHS system. He gave me all of the paperwork I needed and assured me the all would be fine. He even gave me his cell phone number so if I had any questions after hours, I would not stay up worring about anything. I was able to have my service for my uncle and they treated me like I was the only person that they had to deal with at that time. I would use them any time for any service. The staff member who did the service for us treated us like she knew my uncle and we had one of the best homegoing services that I have ever attended. If you want quality, caring, and loving people to attend to you in your time of need... call Perry's. They will make you feel like family. I even received a card marking the anniversary of my Uncles death.
They care and they show it in many ways.
Caring, Loving Employers.
The Perry Funeral Home buries decedents who are unclaimed. These include adults From the Wayne County Medical Examiners as well as adults, babies and fetuses from local hospitals.

Buried Baby without notifying mom. I am sorry to say that my friend trusted her infants remains to this funeral home and after a mistake was made on the part of the funeral home, they buried her baby without her and then avoided her calls and never appropriately apologized to her. The person handing the burial went on vacation. My friend was in the process of geting the burial paid for. The payment was completed and when she called to find out when the baby could be buried, they told her that the baby had already been buried. My friend was devestated. She and the father had made a casket by hand for the baby to be buried in, and now t sits in their home. Very, very sad.
