Great late night fare

Flushlakeeerie must have either eaten at the clock on a bad night or every night is a bad night for that reviewer. The food isn't award winning, but it's comparable to a Denny's or Big Boy in quality. The menu options at either are more limited than the Clock.

As for the service, its always fantastic. We usually come in late with a big group of talkative, sober people. Maybe that made the difference.

The location is perfect for us. I just wish the club across the street would find a better solution for it's parking problems.

• Cons: the night club across the street makes exiting the lot hard

Even if you're trashed, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Late-night, post-bar desire for something in your belly? Premenstrual symptoms making you crave greasy food? Looking for a place open at 3:49 a.m. that serves something remotely edible? I recommend you scrape up those Cheerios crumbs and fermented pickles in your fridge over choosing this place. However, if you like brown iceberg, lettuce that slaps its withering deathly cell structure on your chin along with a glob of dressing, you might enjoy this place. I've had the experience of both burnt and icy cold fries at Clock Diner and an omelet loaded with what appeared to be Cheese Whiz. Have you ever seen that movie (and forgive me, i canNOT remember what movie this is from for the life of me) where a guy orders French toast and when he gets it says "I didn't want powdered sugar on this." (or something to that extent) and so this big burly cook comes out from behind the kitchen, takes the French toast to the back, wipes it down his pants and on his butt, throws the toast on a dish and gives it back to the guy at the table? Well, that's EXACTLY what I imagine going on in the kitchen of Clock Diner.

• Pros: Umm...there is electricity and the bathrooms were actually clean. Oh, there is a sticker machine too.
• Cons: The food, service and location.
