Best restaurant in Hamtramck!. I was born and raised here in Hamtramck. Polish Village is by far the BEST restaurant! From the old times when it was Zusia's, to now. The pork chops, city chicken, and dill pickle soup are awesome. Great atmosphere and workers. If you don't like the pierogi deep fried, just ask for it to be pan fried! Not that hard!

When people talk about Polish restaurants or delis in the suburbs, I have to laugh. Hamtramck has the true Polish foods! Don't go to the "imitation places," get the real deal right here in Hamtramck. Keep up the good work Polish Village Cafe!!

Pretty good. I work at a polish restuarant in dearborn called jims place and I am constantly hearing about the restuarant in the basement so i decided to give it a try.... it was packed i had pierogies and cabbage soup the soup was ok but i was not a fan of the deep fried pierogie because at my work and through my life ive always had pan fried, also it was a very long wait for our food i almost felt walking out..... they do have a really nice atmophere more like a bar though very loud and tight

Always a great time at PVC. We have been going to Polish Village for 5 years now. What a gem. We are constantly introducing friends to this place because of the charming atmosphere and food which are always consistent. We were there last night and had to wait an hour and a half for a table. Was it worth the wait? Of course the bar is the best part. My husband and I are always meeting new people if it is just the two of us. Last night we were with a group and we had a great time. It does get busy and crowded and yet once you are seated there is absolutely no rush to leave. Carolyn, we always appreciate you and the other staff. Thanks for another great evening.

One of THE BEST. Had to try this place because it was voted "One of the Best" in Detroit and I would have to agree. Menu had lotsa choices. Food was great. Help was OK.
