Agreed.
One of the bartenders is definitely a change culprit. Ended up going to Excalibur right next store.

I Heart The Tap.
This is really the closest thing to a pub in the Detroit area. The atmosphere is laid-back and generally mello. Occasional shows by generally wicked local artists draw larger crowds on some weekends. Insane amount of beers and an excellent selection of whiskeys, plus cheese and meat... mmmmm. (Cheese + Meat + Beer = Good!) "Highly" Recommended indeed ;)

Best Beer Selection in Eastern Michigan.
Got a tip from a friend to check this place out. Little scary driving to the location but once there, it was just fine. The beer selection is the absolute best I've ever seen. The bar staff knows every beer they have and can tell you about it before you order it. It's an old pub, dark setting. The walls are completely covered in beer labels, which makes it extra cool. There's darts, a pool table, pinball, and GoldenTee. The cheese platter is top notch as well. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a great beer experience. There are over 230 beers available to try. I'm half-done! I would go there any night of the week. The people and staff are very friendly. The crowd is a great mix of people. Definitely check this place out!

A place to watch the game or the occasional local band while never running out of a new beer to try..
In Short
Great bar seating for the regulars or beer hall tables and chairs for groups. There's a new and exotic beer each time you return to the bar. Make sure you make a toast to the great cat Jaeger, who warmed laps at the Tap Room for years. He passed on to the great pub in the sky. Look for Caty, the new resident cat.
