Mexican Village Restaurant

Excellent food. Worth the trip.. I've been dining here for 35 years and have had only one "questionable" experience. It was probably 25 years ago & we had a big party. (more than 10 people) The tip was automatically added to the bill (15%) without anyone informing us this would happen. We would have tipped alot more but figured since we were forced into what is normally an elective decision we left without leaving a tip at all. Just what was added to the bill. The food is FABULOUS! Always has been. The service is great. It's a little noisy at times but the experience is worth it. We've had to wait for a table at times but that just tells me the food there is worth it. If it wasn't any good, people would not keep going back! Be sure to try the Margaritas. The Golden Margarita is OUTSTANDING & well worth the price. Always had friendly service & ample parking.…

DONT GO WITH KIDS. I have always loved Mexican Village since I was a child... Until recently were told by the Hostess Lucella that my 3 year old son was being too disruptive(if you call dropping a spoon accidentally... disruptive). She then suggested that we take our son and leave. I have never been so publicly embarrassed. So i left with out paying and only had eaten 1/4 of my meal. I WILL NEVER GO BACK…

Worst experience ever - I felt discriminated against. I have frequented Mexican Village since I was a child but tonight, at 5pm, we were told by the Hostess Lucella that our 18 month old daughter got too much food on the floor - I explained that we always tip at least 50% and give the bus boy $20 on each visit - she said she didn't care. I further explained that I also have had parties for over 100 people at their restaurant - to no avail. She then suggested that we take our child and leave - So we did. I felt discriminated against and will never return and would recommend all to abandon this restaurant for others - I was very disappointed…
