great place to eat. I love mexican village. they have the best chips and salsa. their mexican sandwich is the best in town. their service is super fast you never have to wait. they DONT charge extra for more chips and salsa. awesome waiters, some dont even write your order down and it always come out just the way you wanted it. the neighborhood is getting better old houses are gone and new ones going up. security gaurd in parking lots. they have very small bathrooms though.

Authentic. Ive tried several restaurants in the area and there is no comparison to quality of taste and value for your money. Everyone that i have introduced to Mexican Village says its the best! The food is delicious and the alcoholic beverages are great as well as the desert, taco chips and dip and well you get the point.

Great Food. Great food, fast service, nice people, kid friendly, with some good kids meals choices. Don't just settle for the mild salsa, get the HOT! The area is not the best, but still feels safe!

Excellente!!. Best food in Mexicantown at unbelievable prices!! Authentic food and atmosphere!! The wait is always very short and we have been there several times even when its crowded! I don't know what that other person was talking about. Great for groups, dates, or families!

BRAVO!!. If you truly want the BEST Mexican Food, this is the place to go in Mexican town! They have a huge menu selection, and a huge restaurant, we have never had to wait for a table. Service is always great, with an ample staff to make sure your dining experience is great! Try one of the many combo plates, you will get a little bit of everything, and you will still need a take home box! And if you order ice tea, they bring your glass along with a pitcher, so you don't have to keep bugging your server!

not good. Slow service. Chips and salsa tasted like cardboard. It was so bad, we left before ordering.

THE BEST IN MEXICAN TOWN. The BEST!! How else to describe it. Great prices, tons of food at top quality, and fast service in a clean atmosphere. Mexican food being my favorite, I'm pretty critical on this type of food and I have ZERO complaints about this place. Large facility means short wait times even with the line out the door. Visit this place every Friday. Recomend the Village Combo or the Burazzo!! Oh, and the Fried Ice Cream is to die for!!

A Little Bit of Mexico in Detroit. When we have guests in town we take them to the Mexican Village Restaurant. The service has been lightning fast and the food was exceptional. The one negative is the location, although we are familiar with Downtown and the Mexican Village, the surrounding area is not that appealing.
