You really can't go wrong here. Authentic Mexican, very good. Cheap. Fun, relaxed environment. That said, it's not quite a five-star restaurant; let's be realistic. But four-stars fits very nicely if I do say so.
I mention the smell in my "Cons." I wish it didn't bother me, but, what can I say, it did. Kinda musty, close to mildew. Old building, old city, I get it. Still. Not pleasant.
- Pros: Food; Price; Portions
- Cons: Smell
Great Food, Great Service and Very Comfortable.

If you want good food and good service without being crammed in like a sardine... This is the place.
Also, not the typical "rush, rush, Grand Central Station" atmosphere either.
- Pros: Food, Service, Comfort
- Cons: None

No me gusto

The food is terrific but the manager does not handle complaints well. We were seated very late one Friday night, once seated could not get a drink, asked the manager and still could not get a drink, much less place an order! It wasn't even crowded. We walked out. Too many Mexican restaurants in Detroit to bother with poor service....
- Pros: Good food, Great atmosphere, Parking
- Cons: Poor service
