went there for my birthday enjoyed it , been going there for years...but ask the waiter what kind of steak was in the tacos al carbon he didn't know and didn't ask..it wasn't steak it was roast beef, i know the difference...all in all was good, a little overpriced for roast beef, next time we do the fajitas!!! awsome margarittas very smooth good!!!

Vintage Detroit. You really can't go wrong here. Authentic Mexican, very good. Cheap. Fun, relaxed environment. That said, it's not quite a five-star restaurant; let's be realistic. But four-stars fits very nicely if I do say so.

I mention the smell in my "Cons." I wish it didn't bother me, but, what can I say, it did. Kinda musty, close to mildew. Old building, old city, I get it. Still. Not pleasant.

Great Food, Great Service and Very Comfortable.. If you want good food and good service without being crammed in like a sardine... This is the place.

Also, not the typical "rush, rush, Grand Central Station" atmosphere either.

Best Place for good food and good drinks. The Best Fajitia's ever!! The drinks are awesome and the atmosphere is even better. Would recommend to anyone looking to have a great authentic gettaway.

The Best. My husband introduced this place to me when we started dating and I have been hooked ever since. The food is amazing the drinks are wonderful and the the prices can't be beat.

No me gusto. The food is terrific but the manager does not handle complaints well. We were seated very late one Friday night, once seated could not get a drink, asked the manager and still could not get a drink, much less place an order! It wasn't even crowded. We walked out. Too many Mexican restaurants in Detroit to bother with poor service....

The Best!!!:). This restaurant is the best in all of Michigan. They have the best food, best margaritas, best staff, and the best Music!!!!!!!!!!! I recomend that everyone trys the Flamin Fajitas, you will leave the restaurant veeery pleased and full. And for desert, have a fried ice cream, all I could say is mmmmmm! The margaritas are awsome, you can't get enough.

The staff members are great you'll feel like you've known them forever (Kindest waiters). Go today!

Wonderful taste treats. Wonderful, authentic mexican meals served up quickly and efficiently. Mexican Town is LOUD, upstairs in the bar and downstairs in the dining room. But you won't care, everyone here is having a great time around pitchers of Margueritas or...Labatt's! A relatively inexpensive but energetic night out. Try the Tacos Al Carbon, more steak than the average 300 pound lineman can put away in one sitting.

Best Fajita's Ever. The flamimg beef Fajitas with cheese are to die for. And the margarita's are also the best. Add the atmosphere & the staff & you have a real winner.
