holey yams. i am new to the area and wanted to bake some yams for my sunday dinner. i went to the store 10am aug 15 2010. the stench of rotting meat should have been a clue. i picked up a yam an it was full of LARGE HOLES!!! i screamed dropped the yam an complained to store assistant. he threw it away an i asked to check the others. they were also full of LARGE HOLES an maggots where in the bin. i was disgusted an asked for the manager. i was told he wasnt in an asked for the asst mang. he said this happens sometimes with fresh food. i asked him to remove and clean the other bins of food that were in the area. he said that was not necessary. i asked for his name he wouldnt give it to me. i reported today to the city health department. all grocery stores r owned by arabs in detroit who overcharge for bad under quality foods. there r no chain grocers in detroit

the cashier cheated me out of eight dollars. i came to the store to buy some bleach, i gave the cashier twenty dollar bill she gave me eight dollars and some change i explained to her that i gave her a twenty she said i did not we went back and forth untill some othe cashier suggest that she cash out and go to the manager to count her drawer. i gave he the receipt and change that she had given me the manager did tell her that she was ten dollars over she gave me the ten dollar bill but kept the eight dollars and change the other cashiers and manager thought that i was lying and laughed at me i feel very humilated and embarrassed, at the age of fifty i did not see the need to come out in the cold just to lie about $8. what a horrible experience i will email and tell ten people and in hope that they will do the same. all of this for $8.
