What People Are Saying About Astoria Pastry Shop

In Short – A gleaming counter of all things confectionary and decadent, Astoria has enjoyed a firm identity in both Detroit's Greektown neighborhood and the very trendy and popular Royal Oak. Clean and sharp inside with a handful of tables, Astoria is king of Greek specialties, especially its baklava, custer rolls and choureki (sweet egg bread). Triple-layer torts, specialty cheesecakes and rich cookies are benchmarks here.

I LOVE Astoria! Anything you choose there is absolutely going to be wonderful. From cakes to tortes to pastries to ice cream to coffee they do it all wonderfully. Gotta love their Tiger Tails!
- Pros: Great flavors, fun to grab a quick and delicious dessert
- Cons: It can get crowded in there but that just proves how great it is!
