What, are you NUTS? This place ROCKS!!! I won't go ANYWHERE ELSE for my coneys with Greek Salad and/or coney fries. This is the best dog you can find, open at ANY TIME!! NO WONDER Emeril chose THIS coney island (and NOT the one next door) for his "Best of" list!
Pros: Best coney in Detroit. Period.
Cons: Cons? What "cons" could you POSSIBLY HAVE?!! ITS the finest coney and OPEN 24/7!!

My wife and I visited the American Coney Island for the first time and had a ball. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. We were impressed by the cheerful decor and overall cleanliness. Next time we're in the "D", the American Coney will be our first stop.
Pros: Great food, Fantastic Service, Fun Atmosphere
