MmmmmmWaaHHH!. This is the closest to the great hamburger places in Grand Rapids in the late 1940's-early 1950's such as "InWeGo," "Kewpee," the first "Big Boy" on East Divsion in 1958.
Yummy. Every time we go to a new city we try to find the best hamburgers and Hunter House definitely has one of the best I've ever eaten.
Birmingham's Best. I've been eating at the Hunter House since the early '50's. Everytime mom would enter the hospital to deliver another baby (7 times), dad would take us to eat at the Hunter House. I remember when you could get a bag of burgers (12) for a buck! Of course today the cost is higher, but the quality and taste remains the same. No other burger can compare to the taste of a Hunter House burger!!!
