What People Are Saying About Loco Bar & Grill

In Short – The crowd is a mix of Mexicantown residents, upscale business folks and music fans heading to Shelter for some rocking. This spot features Tex-Mex with doses of authentic Mexican cuisine. The menu ranges from typical fare (beef burrito) to creative (fruit salad with baby corn). Chicken is rolled in fragrant spices for the fajitas. The chili is thick and spicy, with chunks of tomato. Chorizo quesadillas require a glass of cold water nearby.

The food is good but the service is terrible. They talked to a homeless person like they were dirt and when it came to paying customers they proceeded to do the same on 8-31-10. I will never return to this establishment ever again and will let people know the service is horrible.

Thanks,

Barb

Good Food and Service

by cartoonsrcool at Citysearch

I will venture here for lunch on occasion with a group of co-workers. We are seated promptly, and the wait staff is normally very friendly. Food is brought out promptly after ordering and drinks are always refilled. Quality of the food is good, and is what is expected from a Mexican restaurant. I am a fan of the deep fried tacos, but everythis looks very good. Pricing is pretty fair as well.

  • Pros: Friendly Wait Staff, Good Food, Fair Prices, Good for Large Groups
