late night happy hour....
In a metropolitan area where most late night happy hours are limited to chain restaurants (you know who you are!), this place is nearly the most affordable place to drink I have ever been to. The crowd is diverse and anything but pretentious. The bartenders are quick and friendly. And if you don't mind being partly deaf for a week, it is one of the greatest small venues I've ever been to (and that includes the rest of the country). Check the website for drink specials and upcoming bands, but next time you've only got a 5 spot, check it out and from that point on, we'll probably see you every week.

ATTN Hipsters! Visit the Lager House.
There are some pretty harsh reviews listed here! I like the Lager House! WHY?
*They book some great Detroit bands.
*It's a dive bar located in Corktown.
*The bartenders now how to mix a drink (thank you Donny).
*It's a great place to meet up with friends & maybe make some new ones.
*It's got a great "scene" without being pretentious or trendy!
