Best Bar in Detroit. Been a few times, always had a blast. Drink Prices are normal, bartenders are good, last time I went there I was on Military leave from San Diego, went with two friends to get rowdy after a Wings game and utilized their DD to drive us home. In case you're unaware of the service they provide, you throw them some money (can't remember how much we paid them, maybe $60-$80) to drive us in a van back to my friends house in Wayne/Westland while another person drove my truck behind our van. I've never heard of another bar offering that service, genius. So if you want to go get trashed with your friends and not have to worry about having a DD, I suggest this bar, it won't let you down.…

Toby Keith got it right: I Love This Bar. My parents and my younger brother have been recommending this bar to me for years, but I stayed tried and true to another establishment, which after six years of loyalty, I outgrew. So I tried the Shillelagh, and what a difference! The staff knew me by name after my first visit, and now treat me as family. The prices are reasonable, the selection is fantastic, and the bands are entertaining (the upstairs band far outweighs the downstairs band in entertainment value, however). It's a must-go-to bar for anyone in the Detroit area.…
Patrons are treated to numerous selections of beer, good food and nightly entertainment at this well-known Irish bar in Greektown..
In Short
The crowd is casual, friendly and always diverse. With performers doing traditional drinking songs, it's common to hear some singing along. There are 20 imported beers on tap; the
menu offers traditional Irish food, such as corned beef and shepherd's pie, as well as typical bar fare. There's live music on the first floor seven days a week. Folk bands perform on the second floor on Fridays and Saturdays.…
TONS OF FUN!!. This is a GREAT place to have lots of fun. Highly recommend the second floor on weekends but arrive earily, seating is limited and fills quickly!
