great on a saturday night. my first experience there was wonderful the drinks are cheap, the music was great. the only draw back was the time change and that i had to work the next day. i will defiently be back again. loved it there. a said are we still in detroit because he had never seen that many white people in one place.

The Well is the place. Had a Blast last night at The Well for the first Tiger home win of the season. Drinks were Cheap ! Service was good, girls were hot ! I will definitely be back !

Won't be back. I recommend the 10 other nearby bars. I was there in the evening and all I can say is this bar had poor service, beer in little cups, no alcohol in mixed drinks and dirty tables/sloppy floor. Never had I had a bad experience downtown till there.

Great local bar. Visited "The Well" on a Saturday night for the first time. Very friendly staff and owners. Great service, drinks were very comparible to you corner bar. It was our first visit to Detroit, and we will definately visit "The Well" every time that we visit. DJ later in the night, the place was packed, with good music, and great people.

Wood paneled, nice-sounding downtown live music venue.. The Scene
The wood-paneled walls, foosball table, cork dartboard and minimal lighting give a funky basement appeal to this old building. The crowd ranges from University of Detroit or Wayne State students looking for a respite from studying to Tigers or Red Wings fans celebrating a victory with a post-game drink. Dress down, it's a laid-back spot. Friday and Saturday nights feature live bands.

User review by plykins. Great time...friendly staff and owners. The first time I was there I felt like a regular. Great atmosphere. I was there on a Friday night and the DJ was good. Stopped in twice on Friday night of Superbowl weekend and the place was hoppin, the cover was only $5.00 and the drink prices were still very reasonable. The service was great for how busy it was. The Well is like a corner neighborhood bar but with a great location near Greektown. Price were comparable to your local taverns. This is the type of place you can go with a group of friends and have a good time or stop in for a quick drink after a long day and still have a good time. Convienient, well lit parking located right outside the door. If you are in the area I would highly recommend you check out The Well.
