Editorial Review for Nemo's – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
This Corktown staple is a favorite watering hole of Tigers and Red Wings fans. Framed sports sections and newspapers adorn the walls, as do autographs of local sports greats. A tin ceiling and wood bar make for a sentimental feel. Nemo's is in the center of St. Patrick's Day festivities, but take advantage of the other 364 days of the year to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.

Good place to go to if your going to a game and want a shuffle over...But this bar shouldn't even be in the Irish catagory! There is Nothing Irish about it!! Just because your located in Corktown, doesn't make you an 'Irish' bar. However, if you want to talk sports, if you want to play keno, heck even if your looking for a ticket to a game...this is the bar.
Pros: good service, good location, fun atmosphere
Cons: Not an Irish bar

We always drive to Nemo's if we're going a Tigers game. SI has it right: great sports bar, and a great burger. Plus, you take the shuttle to/from the Bank (comerica) and beat the crowds going home. (ok, ok, what crowds.........it's the Tigers).
Pros: fenced parking
