NOT WAS IT USED TO BE, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IN THIS SEEDY NEIGHBORHOOD!!!!!. THE ORIGINAL TIPPERARY PUB OWNER'S HAVE SOLD THE BUSINESS. THIS IS BASICALLY A SHELL OF WHAT IT USED TO BE. LAST ST PATRICK'S DAY WAS POORLY ORGANIZED. I MEAN AUTHENTIC IRISH FOOD DOES NOT INCLUDE COLD HOT DOGS!!! THE NEW OWNERS NEED TO GET A REALITY CHECK,I DON'T THINK THEY HAVE EVER RUNA BAR, OR A BUSINESS EVEN!. INFACT THEY ARE CLEARLY THERE ARE VISIBLY EMPTY SPACES WHERE THE ORIG OWNERS HAD SHIELDS AND OTHER DECOR HUNG, THEY ARE NOW GONE W/O REPLACEMENT. VERY DISAPPOINTED, REALLY BAD SERVICE, CAN'T EVEN GET TO THE BAR TO GET A DRINK. I KNOW A LOT OF OTHER PUBS THAT HAVE SERVERS WALK AROUND TO GET TO THOSE WHO ARE NOT AT THE BAR! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, GO ELSEWHERE.…

On the west side of the Southfield service drive, great parking and they'll keep an eye on what's happening outside. Get there about 8AM on St. Paddy's Day.…
The Tip is THE Irish Pub in Detroit.. Don't be fooled by all of the "Irish" Pubs in the area. The Tip is as close as you'll get to a TRUE Irish Pub in the Detroit area. The interior, the people, the Guinness, and the food (or lack thereof) are all dead on.…
Best bar in Metro Detroit!. In recent years, Detroit's great bars have dropped like flies. The Kress, The Golden Pheasant, Lili's 21...all gone. "The Tip" is truly the last of this great breed. The behind-the-bar staff ranks as one of Detroit's best (and wittiest). Grab a pint of Guinness (arguably the best-poured pint in the States), a nip of Jameson's and take in the pleasure of this brave holdout.…
