In Short – Here, the pretty people (or those trying to be) become molded into one on Wednesday and Saturday nights, the two nights Backstreet is open. Black walls, tall ceilings and metal accents are the backdrop for loud, pulsating music and flashing lights. Backstreet has thrived as a Detroit gay club since the '70s, when it was known as The Escape Disco.

The owner is a dirty old man....

Used to be one of my favs, will never be back again!!
The owner shoved one of my friends out of his way and then kicked him out for retaliating. My friend was the dd that night and was totally sober, not like he was a drunken mess. The owner is some dirty old man who thinks he can do whatever the hell he wants.

Best Dance Club Anywhere

Backstreet is the BEST dance club I've ever been to! I have never had so much fun for such a reasonable price!!! They have the best shows & the hottest people ever!
