Substance, not style, matters at Hill & Hill. The interior--crammed with books, yellowed newspaper articles and lounge chairs--is reminiscent of a bachelor-pad basement. But Jim Simon runs a tight shop, filling his humidor with rare finds. This tiny store is one of the only places in Metro Detroit to find a Pinar 3000, a genuine and legal Cuban cigar. Simon's stock runs from basic to the sublime, topping out around $30.
