Decent place, but "modernization" was disappointing. In general, I like Michno's, I really do. That said, the place dropped quite a few points with me (and many of my friends, who also used to go there) when the owners removed the very-cool large '50s-era neon "BAR" sign outside. It was a misguided attempt at "modernization" and the old place lost some of its charm when the sign went away... so my friends and I don't go in there as much anymore. Seriously, it no longer has a distinguishing feature and now looks much like any other westside suburban bar. So, take note: some of us don't want a "modernized" bar. We want a quaint place with an old-time neighborhood vibe. There are few such places left. "Keeping up with the times" isn't always a good thing.

GREAT BURGER. Been going to Sandy's by the Beech for years. The other day it was crowded, did not feel like waiting. So the wife and me headed over to Michno's for the first time. What a Surpise! The interior is gorgeous. Wood booths and plenty of seats. Very clean.

Michno's has an great atmosphere. The service was fast and friendly. The burgers were cooked to order and tasted in my opinion better than Sandys . The beer was ice cold. A very good first time experience. Highly recommend.

pleasing. It is very pleasing to see a neighborhood bar/restaurant get so much attention. It just goes to show that a neighborhood establishment can be every bit as good or better as the big chain restaurants. Thank you to all the loyal customers for voting Michno's Cafe into the top 10.

best evrything....... Michno's cafe is a place where evryone knows your name. Great atmosphere with friendly people. Service is quick and very good. The manger is a Great manager. Best food in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fantastico. Ron and Aileen Michno are the best proprietor's the bar/restaurant scene has ever known. The food is great....the burgers are the best....certified Black Angus beef make the difference. You will need to have at least 5 napkins for this one.....need I say more. You owe it to your self to try one of these.

The best we know, is at Michno's. The hamburgers are made with fresh angus beef and patted out at the time of cooking. You will not find a better burger anywhere.
