On any given summer day, there are enough visitors strolling, power-walking, jogging and in-line skating to warrant traffic lights on the trails around the park. Its picnic areas and beaches are perfect for family fun, while the skiing and hiking trails provide enough of a challenge for hard-core athletes. A boat launch is one of Stony Creek's most popular destinations, while two-person paddleboats, rowboats and canoes can be rented near Baypoint Beach.
