Thank you Derrick!!. I'm a Rosedale Park resident who happens to be in need of a new pair of eyeglasses. I decided that rather than go with one of the major providers that I would shop closer to home and do my part to contribute to my neighborhood. Well, after reading the reviews about how ignorant Derrick is, I decided to call and let him know that I wouldn't be bringing my and my familys' business there. He hung up on me! Thank you Derrick for helping me to take my hard earned dollars to someone who will appreciate my business. I'm sure you'll be out of business very soon simply because there are just too many businesses that want to earn the business of good customers. What an unhappy soul!

I wish I had read the reviews first!!!. If you don’t have tolerance for ugly, nasty impatient attitudes this establishment will piss you off!!! I couldn’t find the little hole in the wall. When I finally got there he (I believe Derrick) said are you the one who called? I wanted to say what difference does it make you prick...Remember tone is key! But I was good and replied yes I couldn’t find this place because it’s so dam small. It’s going to take more than an eye exam to see the letters on the window...lmao. Then he gave me a dirty look. In reply to the previous person who posted; I believe this was the same man who so-called helped me. Very arrogant and rushing me and my little girls experience in picking eye wear. This was my daughters first exam at seven years old and the experience was awful. Almost as though he didn't have patience in dealing with MY decision for my daughter. Almost as though I owed him for sitting in his seats. The actual doctor was super and the women (assistants) were or seemed timid and scary of him. This guy, who wrote the prescriptions had some issues. In the middle of me talking to my daughter he was abrasive, rude, obnoxious and ordering the assistant to take the frames and put them back in the cabinet, almost to say I was wasting his time, so I said to her yes take these frames and put them back in the case, then I looked at him and said and you write my prescription out I can go somewhere else. Why should I patronize a fool and his business? And if he keeps that nasty ass attitude up he will be amongst the rest of those closing their business doors. I had five other friends that needed an eye exam but after I called him and that business out they opted to go elsewhere, which probably would have been better anyway. I will not be going back ever!!! I had kids with me, so he had a look of stereotype on his face, I chose not to hurt his ugly feelings, just give me what I came for and leave the rest up to me on finding my baby's frames! No help to this establishment. I’m not keeping him in business! And remember Derrick if you’re reading this change you nasty ass attitude or you will be out of business! No one wants to patronize ugly!!! Pleasant is better and consumers are helping you with your success! And in all honesty I don't wanna give them a star, but the actual doctor who examined my daughters eyes was very friendly and helpful. Take a Xanax or something life is good to you stop taking your freaking mishaps out on your customers.

POOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. I HAD A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNBELIEVABLE ENCOUNTER WITH DERREK WHO INFORMED ME HE IS THE OWNER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT, HIS ROLE APPEARED TO ME IS THE ONE WHO WRITES UP THE ORDER FOR YOUR LENS AND ASSIST YOU WITH PICKING OUT YOUR FRAMES.

I ORIGINALLY HAD A VERY PLEASANT INITIAL EYE EXAM APPOINTMENT FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTER. WE GOT THROUGH THAT AND WE PICKED OUT OUR FRAMES AND LENS WITH DERRICK. MY 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER PICKED OUT A TRANSITIONAL LENS AND MYSELF A TINT.

I NORMALLY USED DOC/LENSCRAFTERS AND NEVER HAD A UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE THEY WERE ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL AND STOOD BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT, UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO MY INSURANCE CHANGE I NO LONGER COULD USE THEM SO I CHOSE ROSEDALE EYECARE.

THE DISASTER CAME AFTER I PICKED UP THE GLASSES FROM DERREK ON A SATURDAY AT THE END OF JANUARY,I DIDN'T HAVE MY DAUGHTER WITH ME SO I JUST TOOK HERS HOME. MY DAUGHTER POINTED OUT TO ME HER LENS WERE NOT GETTING DARK. I CALLED DERREK THAT FOLLOWING WEEK AND TOLD HIM LENS WERE NOT TRANSITIONAL AND HE ASKED, IS THERE SUNLIGHT? (IN MY MIND TRANSITIONAL LENS TURN DARK AS LONG AS THERE IS DAYLIGHT). WELL DUE TO THE SNOW AND RAIN I ENDED UP TAKING THE GLASSES BACK IN APRIL HE TURNED ME AWAY SAYING I WAITED 2 MONTHS AND I WOULD BASICALLY HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE THE TRANSITIONAL LENS PUT IN. I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT HE HAD JUST SAID CONSIDERING I HAVE 22 YEARS AS A MANAGEMENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST AT MY JOB!!!!!!

I CALLED VSP MY VISION PROVIDER AND THE REPRESENTATIVE COULDNT BELIEVE MY STORY. SHE INFORMED ME I HAVE 6 MONTHS FOR ANY PROBLEMS OR CONCERNS WITH MY GLASSES AND THERE IS NO 2 MONTH POLICY AND ROSEDALE EYECARE KNOWS THAT!

I GUESS WHAT REALLY BOILED MY BLOOD IS WHEN SHE PUT ME ON HOLD AND CALLED DERREK, HE TOLD HER HE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH GIVING ME TRANSITIONAL LENS THAT WAS A FALSE STATEMENT. (THE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME HE SAID THAT), SHE ALSO SAID DERREK SAID HE DIDN'T THINK THAT I HAD ASKED FOR A TRANSITIONAL LENS FOR MY DAUGHTER GLASSES ANOTHER FALSE STATEMENT. I ASKED THE REP TO CHECK HIS SUBMITTED BILL AND SURE ENOUGH TRANSITIONAL LENS WAS THERE. THAT SOUNDS LIKE FRAUD TO ME....YOU WERE GOING TO MAKE ME PAY FOR A SERVICE THAT I NEVER GOT ...EVEN THOUGH YOU BILLED MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR IT AND GOT PAID$$$$?????? (SUSPICIOUS MOVE)

I MUST ADD I DROPPED THE GLASSES OFF THAT SAME DAY TO ROSEDALE EYECARE AFTER TALKING TO THE VSP REPRESENTATIVE WHO INFORMED ME TO TAKE THEM BACK TO HAVE THE LENS CORRECTED, DERREK NEVER GREETED OR SPOKE TO ME, WITH ME STANDING RIGHT THERE HE TOLD HIS CLERK TO TELL ME MY GLASSES WOULD BE BACK IN 2 WEEKS. (HOW PROFESSIONAL WAS THAT)?????

ROSEDALE EYECARE LOST MY BUSINESS AND 5 OTHER REFERRALS I HAD GIVEN HIM.

I WANT TO END THIS WITH ANYBODY CAN MAKE A MISTAKE IT'S HOW YOU CORRECT IT ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE WRONG!!!!!!!

Terrible Customer Service. Derrick (the person who helps you pick out your glasses) got loud and was yelling because we insisted that the glasses be fixed appropiatly. We had been up there mutiple times over a couple of months to get the glasses to where they could be worn without lenses falling out etc. When the glasses came back, they told us that there was a certain day that we could come and pick the glasses up because they were having eye exams. Having an eye exam has nothing to do with picking up a pair glasses that we had gone without for a couple of months. When we went up to Rosedale Eyecare, there were no patients in the waiting area. The doctors were sitting around talking and doing nothing. So there was no reason that we should have been told that we couldn't pick up our glasses until three days later. Rosedale Eyecare is the worst place you can possibly get your glasses from. We went to DOC and LensCrafters for many years before coming to this place. Any time we needed our glasses tightened or if the srews came out or if the lens ever came out, we never had any trouble. So if your looking for any glasses make sure you DO NOT GO TO ROSEDALE EYECARE!
