I had a sewer backup on a Sunday, I called Roto Rooter and they said a technician would call me back, I received a call in less than 30 minutes and the technician Bill Wiper #382 was out in an hour! He was fantastic. He cleared my drains and explained to me what he was doing. He also told me on how to avoid problems in the future. Roto-Rooter. I had a problem with a sewage backup in my basement on a weekend. I called a few places and Roto-Rooter was one of two places I tried to contract. The other place said they would be out in 2 - 3 hours and I never heard back from them again. Roto-Rooter said they would be out, and even thought it took a while, they showed up and Aaron did a fantastic job. He cleared up the clog, showing me what he was doing the entire time, and offered recommendations on how to avoid future problems. I would definitely use them again, and would hope to have Aaron on the call again.…

Garbage Disposal and Other Service. My garbage disposal was not working at all. I got it to begin running and draining again but it sounded strange and smelled hot. Roto Rooter took a look at it. They gave it a test run and the thing totally burned out (started smoking, etc.). They said it was essentially dead. They offered to replace it or install a new basket filter (so as to not have to use a garbage disposal). Although I was not happy to have to totally replace the disposal and pay as much as I did, it appeared that was my best option. So they picked-up the new disposal and installed it. They did it that same day and quickly. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and did good work. Overall I was happy.

On the other end of things, the technician talked to his supervisor about contacting me so I could discuss service I had done on my main drain back in February 2012. I am dissatisfied that the super has not called me back and will have to follow-up with him/her.…

Roto-Rooter Plumbers April 3, 2012. Had problems with main drain backing up intermittently and leaking faucet in kitchen. Looking for plumber in Detroit and Roto Rooter seemed a logical choice. Very professional company from booking service to end of job. The company gives their guys all the time needed to do the job right the first time. Eric was great, he replaced my kitchen faucet and cleared the main drain. He also discussed means to prevent problems in future. They offer a decent warranty on their work. I will definately use this company again.…
