SELLER BEWARE!! We went into the Tappers in West Bloomfield looking to sell my diamond ring that is worth well over $4,000 (appraised at Orin Jeweler's in Northville) & I kid you not, the lady there offered us $320??! I feel sorry for anyone who goes to their gold buying events...these people are essentially stealing from the poor...a complete scam & a complete waste of our time. Needless to say I will just keep my ring, but I will never set foot in a Tapper's store anywhere & will be sure to let everyone I know not to give them their business either. SHAME on you Tappers! Just sickening!

Takes advantage of people selling gold. Today gold is at 1604 oz that equates to 30.10 melt price per gram that equates to 27.00 for scrap gold per gram.. Thay advertise that they give 30% bonus for selling them your scrap gold But they are only paying 19.00 per gram with the 30% bonus.. Thay are paying LESS than most everyone else out there Taking advantage of people during these hard times.. Thae prices quoted here are for 14k gold... So do your research and DO NOT go to TAPPERS to sell your scrap gold.. RIP OFF !!!!!!!!!

Best Gold Buying Experience in Michigan. 2 months ago I went to a gold buying event at a hotel and there were 2 burly men at the door. The whole situation made me nervous and it did not seem like a safe and trustworthy place to sell my gold.

I then went to my local jeweler and he offered me such a low price, I did not think it was worth selling.

I then saw a commercial for Tapper's Gold Exchange and decided to give it one last chance. I went to the one in the Fairlane Town Center and was warmly greeted by a gentleman named Gary. Despite the short wait, Gary could not have been nicer. He even offered me a bottle of water and snacks while I waited. He then walked me through the process and weighed and tested all of my gold in front of me. The offer that Tapper's Gold Exchange made to purchase my gold seemed extremely generous, and I was paid on the spot. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to sell gold to bring it to Tapper's Gold Exchange.
