New Furnace and a Reliable Company to Install the Furnace. The latter part of January I started looking for a new furnace and a reliable company to install the furnace. I contacted four companies all very reputable according to the reviews I saw on their websites. While going through the process of getting proposals from each of these companies I was impressed by Steve Staggs of DA Mechanical who was very personable and very warm in his approach to my needs and expectations. He presented the variations of available units to me and recommended what he thought would be appropriate for my needs. There was no high pressure approach to sell me more than I wanted nor to sell to me immediately. He was willing to work with my timing and gave me respectable repayment terms. He made a follow up call to me after installation to let me know that I could qualify for rebates from DTE Energy and Consumers Energy based on the type of furnace, filtration system and thermostat I had them install. This is a bonus thus reducing the cost of the installation even more. He was already approximately $200.00 less expensive than the next best offer and his warranties were better. The installers came to my home on the agreed upon day and at the agreed upon time. The installers were friendly and very knowledgeable about the furnace and the installation. They were prompt, didn't stop for breaks and finished the job in less time than I anticipated. They were adamant that I contact them at any time if there were issues with the installation or the unit. They cleaned up after themselves and left the work area as clean as before they started the installation. They had no qualms about me watching them and asking questions while they were doing the installation. I would recommend DA Mechanical for cooling and heating to anyone who would ask me and I have developed a level of trust that I would call them for other needs within their field of knowledge and expertise as required.

Forest Hills Cooperative. I am the managing agent of Forest Hills Cooperative, a 306 townhouse development in Ann Arbor. Each unit has its own separate HVAC unit that needed duct cleaning, as well as new furnaces and central air conditioning units. We hired DA Mechanical to facilitate this work and we were completely satisfied with the outcome.

Throughout the entire project all DA Mechanical workers presented themselves in a professional and courteous manner to our membership. Having to enter 306 homes is not an easy task; however, in each and every instance they performed the required work in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.

We have used the services of DA Home Improvement and DA Mechanical for over 30 years. They have performed millions and millions of dollars of renovations for us. We have never been disappointed. When issues arise, they are handled in a professional and immediate manner. If you are contemplating using their services, I would, without hesitation, recommend them highly. You will not find a more professional, competitively priced, hardworking crew.
