Niki's Pizzeria. Worse dining experience ever!!!

I have eaten in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Cebu City, and Manila and always worried about food poisoning because of rumors. However it was not until today that I found myself with a bad case of diarrhea from eating out. Where did I eat? Not some place where one doesn't drink the water, but Niki's Pizzeria in D town. It was my first and last visit. What made matters worse is that after calling twice to complain I have yet to speak to a manager. I wondered why that guy from the kitchen kept walking pass our table. apparently he had a secret

Terribly disappointed. Looked forward to a visit to Niki's after tip from a local (who gave us a good tip earlier to the Sweetwater Tavern, which was great!) with our group of 4 (all adults).

We will not be going back....pizza looked like it would taste good, but did not. Pizza sauce wasn't seasoned, very little cheese. Got hot combo appetizer and the fried foods tasted the same and sausage seemed as a weird inclusion. Did not finish either pizza or appetizer.

Oh, and the Cokes were HORRIBLE. Very watery and little carbonation. I switched to drink water.

Amazing service! Great food!. My three kids and I went to Niki's for lunch. (Not a fun task to begin with). We were greeted at the door by one of the servers who offered to help me with my stroller. Our waiter sat us right away and got our drinks out right away. I was trying to decide if I should get the flaming cheese and the server said it was great and the kids would like seeing it in flames. When he brought it out, it was quite an awesome production. Very cool!!! The kids loved it (the show, they didn't actually like the cheese). We ordered the chicken strips a pizza. The pizza was awesome. Very cheesey and a wonderful crust. The chicken strips were probably some of the best we have had. They were perfect for the kids.

Our waiter was WONDERFUL. Helpful, fast and very attentive. He even offered to help me carry my food out the door until I got my stroller set up.

I definitely didn't think of Niki's as a kid friendly place, but after eating there, I think they are WONDERFUL for kids. THANK you!!!!!

It's ok. I hate the smell of niki's, because I live in the lofts above it.

Great Pizza, Great Service. Niki's is by far the best pizza Greektown has to offer. The staff is courteous and fast. The pizza comes piping HOT. Very reasonably prices too.

cool place. This is part of a neat row of bars and restaurants on Beaubien outside the main part of Greektown. An easy walk from the stadiums after a game. The pizza is unique and well worth a try. It may become a quick favorite for some, but no one will be unhappy with it. It is a pretty good selection of other Greek foods.

Parking is easy late at night. Easily walkable from anywhere east of Woodward downtown.

Great pizza and service. This place is great if you have folks with you who aren't adventurous, because they have wonderful pizza! Their traditional Greek dishes are good, but the pizza is stellar. The last time we went there the server was fantastic and the parking situation is better. There weren't any beggars, either. Overall a very good experience - certainly won't be my last.

This Greek favorite is in a league of its own.. In Short
Business people zip in and out during weekday lunches. Families and sports fans pour into the padded booths to sample deep-dish pizza after games. An outdoor seating area provides a view of the Greektown Casino and music fans leaving St. Andrew's Hall. Ribs are drenched in sauce and smoked until the meat slides off the bone; a half order can be overwhelming. Pizza fans should try the "super" version, with every topping thrown on top.
