It was an amazing exp to go to body zone in detroit... havent seen the action or facilities in other facilities mentioned in the above reviews... i liked the crowd n loved the dark room specifically. wild action every where n had fairly good crowd on saturday night. except the membership fees it was fair deal n i might go there again,

This place has been charging membership fees and entrance fees but the have not put the money into improving the TV reception, nor to improve the Movies they show, nor to keep the hot tub running, nor have they added yucaliptis to the steam room to maske the smell. The dark room is too small and their daytime prices are too high. If you want to have a good time here, come in at night with your own booze and friends. The need to make patronizing the place easy to get in like Steam Works in Toronto -- No membership fees, pay one decent price and a nice place to hang out and play.
Pros: It's a place to go to get away for a few hours
Cons: Price and parking and the TV reception horrible as do the movies

If you have been to "the Clubs" in Cleveland, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston, etc. you will be let down by the facilities at the body zone. That being said it does have many rooms which are clean if not modern. The staff and patrons are nice without attitute. There are some cute guys but everyone seems to smoke nonstop. I'm not from Detroit but did ask about the other sauna TNT, apparently Body Zone is the better spot. I recommend going early because the parking lot is guarded and secure. There doesn't appear to be any parking nearby if the lot is full, also the area is a little rough so I wouldn't take the chance your car would be there when your done.
