An upbeat experience after work

Excellent(!) staff. Very good selection of beverages at not too greedy prices call and well liquor. Food (from outdoor grill), mainly hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken wings, all accompanied by potato chips, is well prepared. Bookie's is positive upbeat experience after a hard day at the office.

In a time where every new bar in detroit that opens up has to have that contemporary look to it we get bookies. I cannot stand it. Bookies provides a chill atmosphere, with a new look, but does not sell out to your new detroit martini bar.
