I have been going to this church for over three years now...It is like home! The people are great, the music is wonderful with the Wirship leaders giving their all from their heart! The Pastors are extremely knowledageble of the Word of God and preach absolutely nothing that they cannot back up wth the Truth of the Bible! They preach the truth for our own good....if we get hurt by what they preach it must mean we have been convicted??? and that would be for us to change, not get mad at the preacher! Their preaching all comes from God! They are truely interested in our eternal life! The elsers and ministry have the words CARE and LOVE in their hearts and love us like their own family....When I hurt I know that they hurt.... I love this church and I am proud to say that the "McCool's" are my Pastors! PS I do miss the website however. Bro Bob had such a nice and informative site I would love to see that again!
Pros: Excellent Worship, Great Preaching, Wonderful Caring people
Cons: Need our Website again

I attended this church for fifteen years. I met my husband at Greater Life. We were married in this church and have been married for 13 years. In a world wracked with divorce and depression and troubles. We still stand strong. Why? Because we had a Pastor who cared. A Pastor who prayed. A Pastor who wasn't afraid to tell us the truth. We now co-pastor a church in Jackson, MI. We could not have been prepared to do this if we had not sat under the tutelage of Pastor Spencer McCool Sr. who is also the Bishop of our church. If you want to question how well a man is qualified to Pastor or co-pastor, "Walk a mile in his shoes" and then stand up and see what you have to say. Greater Life has phenomenal music and worship! I grew up with the Pastor's sons who are now the Associate Pastor's. They are two of the finest young men you will ever meet. They are on fire for God and preach the TRUTH! This church has a group of Elders who I am honored to know. Men of God - Mighty men of valor who have stood the test of time. I am definitely proud to have been a member and proud to call Greater Life my home church.
Pros: If you are truly searching for a better life - then go to Greater Life Apostolic Church.

I've now attend this church for the past 18 years, and I can tell you from almost two decades of experience that you'll be hard pressed to find a better church than this one. For starters, the music is outstanding, with many of those who lead in praise and worship having there own solo project albums. Some would say that it is a bit loud, at times it can be, but the larger majority doesnt mind. The quality of songs far exceed the expectations you had formed at the door. Have no illusions though, while the music is in fact marvelous, it by itself alone doesn't even make this church above average. The ministry of this church is very well equpid, with wise and caring advise whenever you find yourself in need of it, and a genuine family-style love for all those that visit even once! With The senior Pastor,(Spencer McCool Sr.) two associate pastors(Cory and Spencer McCool[jr] ), and a host of elders if you ever need help, someone will always be available to assist you. But even with lovely music and wise/insightful ministry, both of these STILL don't make this church the "cream-of-the-crop". What does, However, make this establishment your future home church is the undeniable spirit of the Lord that comes in every time the doors are open. Praise, worship, and personal spiritual growth are the completely acknowledged primary goals of every person who attends. simply put, your free to worship and praise the lord in any way he leads you, without fear of embarrassment or retribution. This freedom doesn't sprout from a calloused point of view, but rather an understanding that all have committed sin and fell short.. If by any chance you're backslidden, this is the place for you, the lord loves you still and the door is always open. If your looking for un perverted biblical truth, look no further. give it a try this sunday, service starts at 12pm, your going to love it.
Pros: lovely music, great preaching, Powerful moves of God, family orientated.
Cons: none.

I am embarrassed to say I attended this church for over a year. The only good thing that came of it is I can speak from personal experience that the doctrine is false. They teach that salvation is earned by being baptized and by speaking in tongues. They do not teach that salvation is by grace. In addition, the pastors insist that tithing is not optional, and that the only way to be blessed by God is to tithe at least 10 percent of your income. The people appear friendly in the beginning, but after you get to know them you realize that it is superfcial and fake. The people who seem to be "popular" are the people I found to be the ones who gossip all the time, and once I left this church and started attending another one, all of my "friends" from Greater Life disowned me. You'd be better off sleeping in on Sunday than going here.

This is the best church I have ever attended. The people are friendly. The Pastor is very knowledgable of the Bible. The Pastor's sons who are associate Pastors are very knowledgable of the Bible. The whole pastors family are great musicians, singers, and awesome preachers. They preach the truth of the word of God. They care about your salvation. Pastor McCool would go out of his way to help you. They believe in one God, basptism in Jesus name and, receiving the Holy Ghost. Everything they preach, yom will find in the word of God. The music is annoited, you can feel God as they sing. They have several ministries to help the community, including feeding the homeless, sign language, and a childrens ministry. I highly recommend this church. The Pastor and associate Pastor are called of God and will preach you the truth.
Pros: Friendly congregation, friendly ministers, preach the truth
Cons: none

The music and preaching is extremely loud, they like to raise money, and the so-called pastor's sons, who have no formal Bible training, are the pastors, and they are just young guys. They like to talk about how "proud" they are to be a member of that church. Why? To what end? I definitely don't recommend this church.
Pros: None.
Cons: Lack of ministry/doctrine training by the leadership.
