Noble Fish has the best, most authentic sushi in the Detroit area - possibly in all of Michigan. In fact, I've been all over the country, and Noble Fish rivals some of the best sushi bars I've been to on the West Coast. The grocery store is great too, and the whole experience really brings me back to my days in Japan. They sell Asahi and Sapporo beer, and even some of my "konbini" (Japanese convenience store) favorites such as soba sandwiches and unadon. This has been one of my weekly stops since I moved to Royal Oak.
Pros: Excellent and fresh sushi, friendly service, good selection of Japanese groceries
Cons: Hard to get a table at peak times, parking can fill up
