Bah! Humbug!

by NoodleB

Frozen burger patties with no seasoning. Rude waitress. No menu, no paper bill provided (At least, a menu with prices posted on the wall would have been helpful), no plates, no silverware, no frills. However, expensive (they even charged for water) ! Save your money, and go elsewhere.

  • Pros: Parking convenient
  • Cons: Food, service, price, etc.

  • Pros: the baked beans are great

Dirty ole bar burgers!

by beancounter66

Why would you want to come here and eat burgers cooked by a dirty guy with long hair , tattoos, and no gloves?? i have no idea. it s no better than McDonalds and more expensive. They upcharge for everything...by the time you pay your bill, your greasy burger ends up costing you $7.00 !

  • Pros: local joint
  • Cons: food is overrated

Over rated

by JH99

After years of rave reviews Millers is over rated! The atmosphere is dated, the food is fair. twice my carry out order was wrong, (always in their favor). You can get get better burgers elsewhere in Dearborn at Howell's and Beirgarten.

  • Pros: fair burgers
  • Cons: old arrogant staff

Not as good as it used to be

by Elkabong

I have been going to Millers for 20 years but the last 3 or 4 times the burgers were not good at all, they were dry the meat was overdone on the outside. It seems like they turned up the grill heat just to knock them out fast. The Millers I remember you got a nice tasty burger that was juicy and cooked just to order. I know that in these times places aren't staffed like they should be but this is no reason for the quality to suffer. If this continues, it will turn people away. Start using the same quality of meat that was being used before and maybe these reviews will improve.

  • Pros: A good place to take the family
  • Cons: Inconsistent food and service.

Anyone who would reate Cheli's better than Miller's...

by overt

Has totally marginalized themselves. Their business model has been working for them for decades and they still use the honor system. Best burgers in the US. End of story.

  • Pros: Burger coma
  • Cons: They have gotten a tad pricy over the years.

I'm just not a fan

by Foleydagoalie

If you've never been there before and you've heard people talk about it for years, go in with low expectations.

The burgers are good not great, the menu is minimal, and the wait staff is inattentive at best.

I always get the old Lady that takes your order and never comes back until the foods ready.

My suggestion.............Biergarten bar is just down the street, I like their burgers better, and you don't have to wait in line to be crammed in to a tiny table in an even smaller room.

  • Pros: "Good" Burgers
  • Cons: Service, Menu

Burger Okay, Staff is RUDE!!!

by 277mike

I have been stopping in here occasionally since 1987, the burgers are not bad, onion rings are good, fries are weak, liquor and beer selection is not very good, basics only, service is inconsistant, staff spends too much time treating people in a rude manner or bickering amongst themselves. Everything is always their way, RUDE. God forbid you ask for silverware, or bring an odd number of diners. Just about the time I enjoy my meal the staff ruins it. And if you don't like something, well they are quick to inform you it Dan Miller's place and his rules so like it or lump it. On weekends the younger bar staff like to argue and fight in front of you whicj can be entertaining by itself. The whole bunch need to retire and get someone to run the place that knows the meaning of customer service.

Best burgers? Really?

by nichayes1

So I was in town from Arizona visiting a friend and we went to miller's last week, based on seeing it here. I must admit, it wasn't bad. don't expect a menu. they will just ask you what you want, you know the answer, Burger. $23 for two of us to have burger fries and a beer. so I am thinking "not bad" then 2 days later I find myself at "3 Nick's" Scoreboard. I find out that with a 2 drink minimum you can order off their "lunch" menu (Lunch is served till 11p.m. by the way) I order the bacon cheeseburger I chose pepper jack cheese (there are other options, mushroom swiss etc.) and it was ten times better than Miller's! much thicker (hand made and not frozen ground round) better taste and get this it cost $1.00 I know you can't believe it. but it really was the best burger I have had anywhere and it was $1.00. The waitresses and bartenders wear bikinis till 4 so leave the kids at home. they like McDonalds better anyway. the lunch menu also includes fries, onion rings and many other option all for a buck each. So two beers ($1.75 each) onion rings and the best burger ever for two of us for $11. less than half the price of Miller's (with one more beer to boot) plenty left over to tip the nice looking girls in bikini's. So skip Miller's and go to Scoreboard ( i hear there are 2 other "3 Nick" bars in town but I have not been there) You will be glad you did.
