Memories

I am writing this from a nostalgia prespective. Corsi's was the place we always stopped on the way home from shopping at the mall. I remember some of the best pizza I had ever eaten (o.k., so I didn't have a big frame of reference at 8 years old). My sister always got the spagetti, and never failed to make a mess. Going to have to go back here one day.

This is the best pizza in Detroit. They use quality ingredients...the cheese has that slight saltiness that says it authentic, the pepperoni are the small ones that curl up and hold the prized grease, the sauce is perfectly balanced and the crust is a crunchy yet tender.

Now I've had quite a few pizzas in this town, and yes Louie's is good, the Cloverleaf is great, Pizza Papalis is very good if you like Chicago style, but this pizza is the one you'll drive out of your way for. I've never had the pasta so no comment. The salads are basic-I wouldn't recommend.

I always order carryout as the dining room is small and nothing to write home about.
