Lots of pool tables, great music and people

is this place still open? i used to go there often and i loved it! Large restrooms, huge bar, many pool tables and great live bands and DJ. Nice location, good people. I miss it! would go back no matter what name it is changed to. THE PERFECT CLUB. Lots of parking. And a liquor store right next store, to pick up some beer on your way out!

Great billiards, music and chear!

Heard it's reopening under old management? I hope it's about to return to the old JDubs! The bar has been through alot in the past few years. I used to have a "GREAT TIME" there about 7 or 8 yrs ago. Until the ecstasy retro team took over. I hope the old JDubs or at least some of the good things soon return.

I always enjoyed the interactive staff and the owners where Great!

If anybody has any up to date info when the reopening is to take place, please write a review.

• Pros: mixed age group (years ago) and great staff kept the trouble makers out.
• Cons: Before last owners renovations, the smoke was awful. Shouldn't be a problem this time around.

The only place to be downriver

What a huge turnaround!! I used to come here to play pool years ago and it was a bunch of hillbillies. Now its a pretty nice place! Friday and Saturday they have a DJ that plays dance/booty,top 40's and a different live band every weekend. Saturdays seem to be the best night. Younger crowd 21+. $4 cover. $4 beers

• Pros: location, music, descent crowd
• Cons: bodybuilder, bartender is really, a man

alot of potential

Nice decorations, but still a work in progress. Waitress are slow but good looking. Bartenders are slower but also good looking. Which kinda explains why waitress are slow. Great bands...like different ones every weekend. Bands don't play slow songs to polish the belt buckle if you know what I mean. DJ plays to much of same type (hip hop) but gets the people dancing. Unlike the bands, but Bands are great!!!!

• Cons: blind floor staff, small parking, Slow service

A fun night out

Made a trip down to J Dub's to check out this bar. Was impressed by the size of the place lots of t.v.'s waterfall panels around. Lots of pool tables, and a nice sized dance floor. The band was great and the staff seemed very friendly.
