Worst of the worst

Worst customer service experience of my life. They managed to lose my payment check twice, then applied it to the wrong account. They made a mistake on their records and it took me dozens of calls, two faxes, and two 50 mile drives down there to get them to correct it. All they had to do was make a two-minute call to my former employer, and it took them seven weeks to get it done. Meanwhile, I was left without insurance for that time. After I made the call for them and handed the supervisor my cell phone with the contact they claimed they were unable to reach, they finally corrected their error. But then had the nerve to try to charge me retroactively for the seven weeks I went without insurance! The worst of incompetent, unfeeling bureaocracy.

• Pros: plans seem all right
• Cons: horrendous service, utter incompetence
