Good Mexican/Latino food and family-friendly!

Several bars located within the two story restaurant. The slightly cramped seating doesn't detract from the good food and overall fun atmosphere.

• Cons: Table seating is a little cramped.

Disapointed in a Used To Be!

So disapointed in what used to be a favorite! Xochilmico has jumped the shark!!! The food has gone greasy and overly salty. The staff are unprofessional and even condisending and discriminatory! There are so many other mexican restaurants in the area, makes staying away from here an easy thing!

Very Disappointed

My family and friends decided we wanted to eat some good Mexican food. Since Xochimilco has not been a disappointed in the past we decided to have a late evening meal there. All of our meals tasted like frozen food that was reheated and served. Sorry to say we will not go back there again nor will I recommend this establishment to any of my family or friends. I am truly amazed at how poor the quality of food tasted considering they use to be the best in town.

Very good food at a great price.

We went as a church group of about 12 people. We called several hours before getting there and they made reservations.

The men's bathroom was not accessible for me in my wheelchair but they let me use the ladies, and let others know I was using it, even though I could lock the door.

All in all, a nice experience and we will consider going back as a group.

• Cons: Quite dark, hard to read their menu

terrible food

Horrible food. I live in Sw Detroit and would never recommend anyone eat here or eat there myself. Quality of food has gone downhill in last 10+ years. There are so many better restaurants here i dont understand why people eat there. No locals eat there trust me! Try lupitas, or evies down the street or even go down vernor to los altos, or mi pueblo! Not a good restaurant-end of story!

XOCHIMILCO is my all time favorite mexican restaurant. I can barely say the name but that doesn't matter...The food is awesome (their wet burrito is my favorite), resonable in price, and the service is quick. I also am a big fan of their tastey margaritas.

Motowns Best Mexican

Its dirt cheap and has really great food. the fajitas are great, a huge serving, but great. The salsas good the tortillas are good the steak in the fajitas was great. it was better than any mexican food ive had in any other city except maybe San Antonio.
