Great All Around Mexican Place

I'm a frequent customer to Border Cantina. Good food; at a pretty good value; really good variety. I don't think I have ever had anything I didn't like.....try the Monterray Salad if you want to avoid a big-heavy-fat meal. The house margaritas are pretty good, but I usually stick with a Sol or Corona. Good service all around. Great atmosphere in the little bar area - its a good size and you can certainly enjoy a meal there. Recently we noticed the refried beans in the food were different - very bland and tasteless. Hopefully, this is not a permanent change.
- Pros: You can count on the food overall
- Cons: Chips and Salsa are just OK.

I love this restaurant. Everything here is made fresh daily. They have this world class dish called Aroz con pollo. It is my absolute favorite. It is rice, cheese, chicken, veggies, and their own ranchera sauce all mixed together and served with warm tortillas. It also comes with sour cream and that yummy little ball of corn cake. Their prices are really cheap and their portions are huge!!! I would definitely recommend them. I go there every year for my birthday and try to take the kids when I can too.

This is a great Mexican place! They have great portions and the prices are very fair. Their margaritas are superb!! The waitstaff is very good too!

I have not found any outstanding Mexican restaurants in Metro-Detroit, and I shall keep searching until I do! But I must admit, when I am tired of being disappointed yet again, I go to Border Cantina for the decent food, good drinks, and outstanding service. A reliably good meal.

Very good service, incredible Fajitas and Margaritas, great mexican beer selection.
This is one of the very few "top shelf" Tex Mex restaurants in southeast Michigan.

If I could give this one ten stars, I would. This restaurant is FABULOUS all over, from the great authentic food to the festive theme to the great service, good prices and there's hardly ever a long wait. They have tables out on the porch so you can sit outside in the summer which I love, and the staff is absolutely fantastic. I'd eat here several times a week if I could! Definitely a must-see.

The food here is excellent, I recommend the Chimichangas, they are wonderful! And $7.50 for a TOP SHELF margarita can't be beat, especially when only one can get you buzzed!

i had the bbq chicken, and it was frozen on the inside i might add, 15 dollars for a margarita was unexceptable, i told manager that this was the worst food and service ive ever had and wont be back
highly not reccomended, thefood tasted like it was made days ahead!!!

I've been going to the Border Cantina for over ten years now and I still think it's the best in town. For the money you pay and what you get, you can't beat them.

and I did not care if anyone was watchin! You can't beat this place for service and .............well lets just say Yummy Food.
